EMC DL3D 1500 and DL3D 3000 Administrator's Guide
You can configure attached physical libraries using the Auto Archive
page. Once configured, the libraries are recognized and available to
the DL3D system for data backups.
CAUTION
!
The DL3D cannot support a physical tape library with mixed media
in a single partition.
Note: You must enable the Auto Archive license to configure the physical
libraries. See

Use the Claim Media page to assign media options to unknown
media, as follows:
1. To access the Media page, click Auto Archive on the PTT page.
2. On the Media page, click Claim Media. The Claim Media page
appears.
3. Select the cartridges from the unknown media list.
