This section lists the replication commands on the DL3D 1500/3000
command line interface and the syntax and output of these
commands.
Initiates cartridge-based replication
The replicate vtl command lets you initiate cartridge-based
replication for a cartridge in a virtual tape library. You must specify
the virtual tape library name and the barcode of the cartridge.
Syntax
syscli --replicate vtl --name <vtlname> --barcode <barcode>
[--disableok]
Initiates directory/file-based replication
The replicate nas command lets you initiate directory/file-based
replication for a specified path for a NAS share. You must specify the
name of the NAS share and the path to the directory/file.
Syntax syscli --replicate nas --name <NAS share name> [--path <directory
path or filename to the share>] [--disableok]
Locks the specified virtual tape library
The lock vtl command locks a specified virtual tape library. You must
specify the name of the virtual tape library.
Syntax syscli --lock vtl --name <VTL name> [--wait]
