13) Removing Crank Case
1.
Loosen crank case mounting bolts in the order shown,
remove them, and remove crank case.
When removing crank case, pry the gap at the
groove of crank case by using a bladed screw
driver.
Note that there are two knock pins on the mating
surface of crank case.
2.
Remove crank shaft ass'y.
Put a pipe of ø19mm (0.748 in) in the drive shaft side of
crank shaft ass'y, hold the crank shaft ass'y using both
hands, lift it in parallel with the cylinder block to remove
taking care not to damage the piston rings.
The crank shaft ass'y can be removed easier by
lifting it while rocking it up and down a little.
