Flushing using flushing device
1. Set outboard motor to vertical position.
Take out flushing connector cap 1 and attach flushing
2.
attachment 2 to it.
3. Put water hose on the flushing attachment and run water
for 3 to 5 minutes.
The flushing can be made without running
the engine.
Water pressure:
0.12 - 0.2MPa (1.74 - 29.0psi) [1.2 - 2.0kgf/cm
4. Remove flushing attachment.
Check if seal rubber 3 and O ring 4 are not damaged,
5.
and if not damaged, reattach the flushing connector cap.
Leak of cooling water can cause troubles
such as overheating.
Put flushing connector cap securely.
