Connect the O
Check for continuity between the ECM 33P (Light
gray) connector of the wire harness side and
ground.
CONNECTION: B20 – Ground

Is there continuity?
YES
NO

Connect the ECM 33P connectors.
Replace the O
(page 5-101).
Clear the ECM self-diagnosis memory data (page
5-14).
Start the engine and warm the engine up to cool-
ant temperature is 80 °C (176 °F).
Test-ride the motorcycle and check the O
with the HDS pocket tester.
Is the DTC 21-1 indicated?
YES
NO

• Before starting the inspection, check for loose or
poor contact on the O
tor and ECM 33P connectors, then recheck the
DTC.

Start the engine and check the O
