• Before starting the inspection, check for loose or
poor contact on the O
tor and ECM 33P connectors, then recheck the
DTC.

Sensor System Inspection

Start the engine and warm up the engine up to
coolant temperature is 80 °C (176 °F).
Test-ride the motorcycle and check the O
with the HDS pocket tester.
STANDARD: 0.1 V – 0.3 V
Is the voltage as specified?
YES
NO

Sensor Open Circuit Inspection

Turn the ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect the ECM 33P connectors and O
sor 4P (Black) connector.
Check the continuity between the ECM 33P con-
nectors of the wire harness side and O
4P (Black) connector of the wire harness side.
CONNECTION: A18 – Green/orange

– Check the fuel pressure. If the system is
correct, GO TO STEP 4.
