REP 4.7 Fuser Assembly

1 Switch off the printer power and disconnect the AC Power Cord.

WARNING! The Fuser is extremely hot. Switch off printer main power and wait an hour for the

Fuser to cool down before attempting to work with or remove the Fuser Assembly.

2 Open Duplex Unit, if installed.

3 Open the Upper Left Cover Assembly.

4 Open the Left Front Cover.

5 Loosen the two thumb screws that secure the Fuser Assembly to the printer frame.

6 Hold onto the Fuser Handles and slide the Fuser Assembly forward and out of the printer frame

(Figure 4.7.1a).
