Replacement
1 Install the grounding strap that was removed from the old assembly (Figure 4.2.6n).
2 Reinstall the Take Away Roll Shaft.
3 Reinstall the front bearing (Figure 4.2.6o).
4 Ensure that the slots in the tabs of the white bearings are mated with the tabs on the printer
frame (Figure 4.2.6o).
5 Reinstall the Gear Stopper and the screw (Figure 4.2.6o).
6 Reinstall the Spacer, Gear, and E-ring on the Take Away Roll Shaft (Figure 4.2.6o).
7 Slightly lift the Retard shaft and reinstall the metal Feed In Chute. Install the chute slightly to the
front and slide to the rear to engage the tabs (Figure 4.2.6o). Install the screw to secure.
8 Reinstall the plastic Feed Out Chute. Note that the front mounting on the chute is slotted. The
collar on the front white bearing goes into the slot (Figure 4.2.6o).
9 Install the Take Away Sensor into the new assembly and connect the harness (Figure 4.2.6h).
10 Install the spacer in the assembly (Figure 4.2.6p).
