An Overview of Toll Restrictions
The DBS Toll Restriction Service (TRS) allows you to set restrictions on outgoing
calls. For example, TRS can prohibit long-distance calls and prevent after-hours calls.
TRS can also minimize non-business calls and reduce phone bills by permitting only
long-distance calls over designated trunks.
The DBS system supports up to eight different TRS types (see table below). A TRS
type can be assigned to each trunk to activate toll restriction.
