Rear Suspension
Spring/Bump Stop Replacement (cont'd)
Installation
1. Install the bump stop (A).
10 x 1.25 mm
39 N·m
(4.0 kgf·m, 29 lbf·ft)

2. Install the spring (C), and the upper spring seat (D).
Align the bottom of the spring and the lower spring
seat (E) with the lower arm B as shown.
3. Lower the rear suspension. Position the lower arm
B, and loosely install the flange bolt (A) and self-
locking nut (C).

10. Install the rear wheel.
11. Check the rear wheel alignment, and adjust it if

(8.5 kgf·m, 61 lbf·ft)
4. Position a floor jack at the connecting point of the
lower arm B and the knuckle.
5. Slowly raise the jack until you can align the bolt
hole with the holes in the lower arm B and the
knuckle by raising the flange bolt.
6. Raise the rear suspension with a floor jack until the
vehicle just lifts off the safety stands.
7. Tighten the self-locking nut.
8. Tighten the flange bolt (A).
9. Install the wheel sensor.
