ipv6 pimsm bsr-border
Use the ipv6 pimsm bsr-border command to prevent bootstrap router (BSR) messages from
being sent or received through an interface. Use the "no" form of this command to disable the
interface from being the BSR border.
Syntax
ipv6 pimsm bsr-border
no ipv6 pimsm bsr-border
Default Configuration
BSR-border is disabled by default.

Use the ipv6 pimsm bsr-candidate command to configure the router to announce its candidacy
as a bootstrap router (BSR). Use the "no" form of this command to stop the router from
announcing its candidacy as a bootstrap router.
Syntax
ipv6 pimsm bsr-candidate vlan
no ipv6 pimsm bsr-candidate vlan
vlan-id —A valid VLAN ID value.
hash-mask-len — The length of a mask that is to be ANDed with the group address before the
hash function is called. All groups with the same seed hash correspond to the same RP. For
example, if this value is 24, only the first 24 bits of the group addresses matter. This allows you
to get one RP for multiple groups. (Range 0–128 bits).
