If the resistance is not as specified, replace the injector.

Keep injector clear of sparks during the test.

(quick type) after observing the precautions.

Install a suitable vinyl tube onto the injector to prevent gasoline

Inspect injector resistance
(1)
Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance be-
tween the terminals.
Resistance: 13.4 – 14.2 Ω at 20_C (68_F)
Inspect injector inspection
(1)
Purchase the new fuel tube and take out the fuel
tube connector from its pipe.
(2)
Connect SST and fuel tube connector to the fuel
pipe.

Install the O–ring to the injector.
(4)
Connect SST (union and hose) to the injector, and
hold the injector and union with SST (clamp)

Put the injector into a graduated cylinder.

Operate the fuel pump.(See Page 11–5)
