Rogue Access Point Detection

A rogue AP is any AP connected to your network without authorization. The AP is not under
the management of your system administrator and does not conform to the network security
policies.
The W310 implements rogue AP detection by allowing the system administrator to build a
list of authorized devices that can access the network.
The W110 will periodically scan the air for other LAPs. All LAPs discovered are reported
back to the W310. The W310 checks the list of LAPs against a known list of authenticated
LAPs and reports any LAP that may be considered a rogue AP.
