W310 WLAN Gateway Wireless Features
To do the following . . .
Enter a name for the SSID.
Set the VLAN for the SSID. The default setting is by user
group table. Only one SSID in the SSID Table can use the
default.
The default derives its VLAN assignment from the User
Group Table which is configured in Step 4. All other
SSIDs in the SSID Table must use a VLAN value of 1 to
3072.
On bridged networks, you must configure
each VLAN in Layer 2 before you assign
VLANs to the wireless network. This is
done as follows:
- Use the set vlan CLI command, or
- Under the Device Manager tab, select
Configure on the menu bar and then
VLANs.
For each SSID Table, only one (1) SSID can
have a VLAN assigned "by user group
table". In addition, each SSID must have a
unique VLAN number assigned to it. The
range for VLAN IDs is 1 to 3071.
