Wireless Domain Parameters

CAUTION: You must configure the W310 with a master wireless domain server before you
configure any other wireless parameters.
You can set parameters for a master and backup server in the wireless domain. There is also
a wireless domain secret that is used for W310 to W310 and W310 to an Access Point
communications.
You must configure ONE W310 as the system mobility controller. Other W310s in the
domain can be configured as backup system mobility controllers. The system mobility
controller stores the information regarding a client's configuration, such as MAC address, IP
address, home gateway, foreign gateway, VLAN, policy, user groups, etc. This information
is used when a wireless client roams from one W110 (LAP) to another W110 (LAP)
connected to a different W310.
Every configuration change is reported by the W310 to the system mobility controller in
order to keep the database up to date.

master wireless domain server before you configure any other wireless parameters.
Wireless Domain Configuration Using the W310 Manager
Configure the wireless domain with only one master and one backup (optional) W310. For
each additional W310 that is a member of the domain, you must configure the W310 to point
to the same master and backup. Also, if configuring a backup for the wireless domain, it
must not be the same W310 as the master.
