Exit SSID mode and create a user group. The user group must use the same name as the
SSID if you are not using a user group name from a RADIUS server.
W310-1(super/SSID engineering@companya)# exit
W310-1(super)# user-group engineering@companya

Specify a VLAN. In the example below, VLAN 1 is used. The command enters you into
User Group mode.
W310-1(super/User group engineering@companya)# vlan 1
Done!

Exit User Group mode and specify the W110 (LAP) you want to configure first. The
command places you in W110 (LAP) mode for that port. In the example, the W110
(LAP) connected to the W310's port 16 is used.
W310-1(super/User group engineering@companya)# exit
W310-1(super)# lap port-16
9.
Specify the radio mode for the W110 (LAP). The command places you in the radio
mode specified. In the example, the W110 (LAP) has an 802.11b radio. For this release,
only the first-slot parameter is available.
W310-1(super/LAP port-16)# radio-card-802.11 802.11b first-
slot
10. Bind the SSID engineering@companya to the W110 (LAP) radio. The command
associates the WEP configuration to the W110 (LAP) radio.
W310-1(super/LAP port-16/802.11g first-slot)# ssid
engineering@companya
This command will reboot the LAP(s) - do you want to
continue (Y/N)? y
Note: In this context mode mode, you can also disable automatic channel selection,
statically assign channels, and modify transmission power.
11. Exit the radio mode and specify the operational mode for the W110 (LAP). The
operational mode must be the same as the radio mode specified in Step 10. In this case,
you specify 802.11g for 802.11b radios.
W310-1(super/LAP port-16/802.11g first-slot)# exit
W310-1(super/LAP port-16)# operational-mode 802.11g
This command will reboot the LAP(s) - do you want to
continue (Y/N)? y
