W310 WLAN Gateway Wireless Features
To do the following . . .
Policy User Group ID (PUGID) is a name of a group of
users that is used for policy (ACL and QoS) classification.
The PUGID is stored as a field of the User Group table.
Selector enter a policy name to apply to the User Group.
by ip address means the policy is applied based on the
host or destination station.
a specific policy name uses system filtering to apply
the policy. The policy name is used when specifying a
source or destination user group in policy.
Select the home gateway for the User Group.
dynamic home gateway means that the first gateway a
user connects to is the home gateway.
a specific ip address means that the user group connects
to the same gateway each time.
Assign a VLAN to the User Group.
by gateway's management interface means that the
User Group can connect to all W310s, depending on
their policy settings.
a specific VLAN interface means the user group can
use the specified VLAN. Only 1 VLAN can be
specified.
On bridged networks, you must configure
each VLAN in Layer 2 before you assign
VLANs to the wireless network. This is
done as follows:
- Use the set vlan CLI command, or
- Under the Device Manager tab, select
Configure on the menu bar and then
VLANs.
