LAP Template Configuration - Operational Mode Tab Using the W310 Manager

The Operational Mode tab of the LAP Template Configuration dialog box provides a set of
standard operational mode parameters for LAPs attached to the Avaya W310 device.
To view the operational mode configuration of a wireless slot:

Click on the Avaya W310 device symbol in the Tree View. The LAP Template
Configuration dialog box opens to the Advanced - 802.11a tab.

Click Operational Mode. The Operational Mode tab of the LAP Template
Configuration dialog box appears.
To apply changes to the LAP Operations Mode Configuration Template, click Apply
Template. To restore the LAP Operations Mode Configuration to its default values,
click Restore to Factory Defaults. To import a previously defined Configuration
Template, click Import.

Description
From the Rogue AP Detection Mode field, select whether to
enable or disable the LAP to detect rogue Access Points.
Values are:
Enable - The LAP can detect rogue APs.
Disable - The LAP can not detect rogue APs.
In the Rogue AP Detection Interval (minutes), enter the
interval at which Rogue AP Detection initializes. This field is
only available if Rogue AP Detection Mode is enabled.
In the Handover & Existing Reserved Bandwidth (%)
field, enter the percentage of total bandwidth reserved for
voice-quality traffic, both for roaming clients and for existing
clients requiring additional bandwidth. Up to 50% of total
bandwidth may be reserved.
