Set the security mode for the wireless network to Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP). In
the SSID Table for the new SSID, click on Security Mode and select WEP from the
drop-down menu.

Configure the WEP encryption keys. You can configure up to four keys for encryption.
You also need to enter an encryption string of five ASCII characters for 64-bit
encryption, 13 ASCII characters for 128-bit encryption, and 16 ASCII Characters for
152-bit encryption. Click on WEP Key 1 and enter an encryption key. For example,
enter Co3a.
— If you enter a valid key, the text turns red and then turn black.
— If you enter an invalid key, the text returns to the default key.

Specify the WEP key that will be in effect for the wireless network. For example,
specify WEP Key 1 a the effective key by clicking on the Effective WEP Key column for
the SSID and selecting WEP Key 1 from the drop-down menu.

Assign the W110 (LAP) port(s) to the new SSID. Click on the checkbox for each W110
(LAP) you want to bind to the SSID. For example, check the box for LAP 16. All boxes
unchecked are not assigned to the new SSID.

Click Apply when done.
