The following table provides a list of the fields in the Advanced tab of the Device
Information dialog box and their descriptions.

Device Information Fields - Advanced Tab
Do the following . . .
In the STP Mode field, from the drop-down menu, select
the Spanning Tree status of the device.
Enable
Disable
In the STP Priority field, from the drop-down menu,
select the priority value used in Spanning Tree
calculations.
In the STP Version field, from the drop-down menu,
select the version of Spanning Tree on the device.
Selections include:
STP Compatible - Standard Spanning-Tree Protocol
RSTP - Rapid Spanning-Tree Protocol
In the STP Max Age field, click on the numeric field to
enter an STP Max Age interval. This interval is the
maximum amount of time before the Spanning Tree
table recalculates if there is no change in the W310
status.
In the STP Hello Time field, click on the numeric field
to enter the amount of time between sending Spanning
Tree updates if there are no detected changes in the
W310's network connections.
In the STP Forward Delay field, click on the numeric
value to enter the amount of time for the W310 to begin
forwarding packets when first joining a network.
In the STP Bridge Max Age field, click on the numeric
value to enter the maximum amount of time before
Spanning Tree recalculates if there is no change in
network bridging status.
