The following table provides a list of the fields in the General tab of the LAP Configuration
dialog box and their descriptions:

Chapter 12
Description
In the Name field, enter a name for the LAP.
In the Location field, enter the physical location of the LAP.
In the Description field, enter a description of the LAP.
See the Up Time field to view the amount of time
(DD:HH:MM:SS.SS) since the LAP was last rebooted.
See the Physical Port field to view the number of the port on
the Avaya W310 to which the LAP is connected.
From the Operational Mode field drop-down menu, select
the wireless network interface operational mode.
Values for devices with 802.11b or 802.11g transceivers
are:
802.11b only
802.11g only
802.11bg
Values for devices with 802.11a transceivers are:
802.11a only
See the appropriate field to view one or all of the following:
The hardware version of the LAP.
The software image version running on the LAP.
The original version of the boot loader running on the
LAP.
The version of the Boot Loader currently running on the
LAP.
