To do the following . . .
Sets the source or destination IP address of the source or
destination station.
•
host <ip_address> lets you specify the policy's source
or destination IP address as a specific host.
•
any specifies that the policy can be applied to any IP
address.
•
<ip_address> specifies the policy's source or
destination IP address.
•
<wildcard> specifies a range of IP addresses.
Example:
destination-ip any
Specifies the Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) ports
to match the rule. It set for either a source-port or
destination port.
•
[any | eq | lt | gt] specifies how to apply the rule to a
port.
•
any applies the rule to any port.
•
eq applies the rule to any port that maches the specified
port.
•
lt applies the rule to any port whose number is less than
the one specified.
•
gt applies the rule to any port whose number is less
than the one specified.
Example:
tcp destination-port eq 25
