Wireless Domain Configuration Parameters
Do the following . . .
Configure the wireless domain with only one master and one backup
(optional) W310. For each additional W310 that is a member of the
domain, you must configure the W310 to point to the same master and
backup. Also, if configuring a backup for the wireless domain, it must not
be the same W310 as the master.
In the Master gateway IP address field, enter the IP address
of the primary wireless gateway.
In the Backup gateway IP address field, enter the IP
address of the backup wireless gateway.
In the Active gateway IP address field, the IP address of the
currently active wireless gateway is displayed.
In the Name field, enter the name assigned to the Wireless
Domain.
In the Secret field, type in the secret password for the
Wireless Domain. The password will appear as asterisks.
In order to confirm the secret password, retype the password
in this field to confirm the Wireless Domain Secret
Password.
In the Spectralink support field, check the box in order to
allow the Avaya W310 to support SpectraLink wireless
Voice over IP services. Uncheck the box to disable support.
If you enable support for SpectraLink or SpectraLink
compatible phones, it is recommended that you reboot all the
W110s that are connected to the W310.
