Explanation
Fabric Shortest Path First (FSPF) received a FC2 packet on inactive interface in the
VSAN shown in the error message.
This message may be printed for the first FSPF packet when an interface is

interface or the VSAN. Otherwise, enter the show interface command to see if the interface is
physically up only on one side. Also check if there is any error message printed for
IPC_PROC_ERR.

An illegal protocol event has occurred for the Fabric Shortest Path First (FSPF) state
machine. The old state is shown in the error message for the interface and VSAN.
It is possible to get this message if a protocol packet gets dropped, but FSPF

corruption or truncation. You can alternatively use Fabric Manager and/or Device Manager instead of
the command line method.
