Statement introduced in Junos OS Release 9.0 for EX Series switches.
Set the device's link-connection characteristic.
The automatic mode is enabled.
—Link characteristic:
mode
full-duplex —Connection is full duplex.
—Connection is half duplex.
half-duplex
automatic —Link mode is negotiated.
If is specified in ether-options, you can select only
no-auto-negotiation
. If auto-negotiation is specified in
half-duplex
mode.
