2.4 Setting / Updating
2.4.1 Change of Network Settings via PENDRIVE
If you want to change the network settings, follow these steps:
1 Confirm that your equipment is on firmware version 29.9 or higher. If not,
update your equipment (for more details refer to
page 11)
2 Create a file text (TXT) with the networks parameters. This file must have
these features:
Name and extension: PROMAX_IP.txt


3 Once the TXT with the network parameters is ready, you should copy that
file in the root directory of a USB pendrive.
4 Next, put your equipment in SERVICE mode. To do this follow the steps
below.
5 Press and hold the service mode button (see number 13 on
page 4). You can use the tip of a paperclip to press this button.
6 Press the power switch and wait a few seconds for the equipment to turn on.
7 Release the service mode button.
8 To verify that you are in service mode, check the led colour is orange.
9 Insert the pendrive with the PROMAX_IP.txt file in the USB port of the
equipment.
10 Then press the SERVICE mode button again for a time longer than 3 seconds
but no longer than 7 seconds.
11 The equipment loads the new network settings and restarts.
12 When the equipment turns on, if the led is green then indicates that it has
been successfully configured. If it shows the red colour it indicates that there
