localnode.linefreq
This attribute contains the power line frequency setting that is used for NPLC calculations.
Type
TSP-Link accessible
Attribute (RW)
Yes
Usage
frequency = localnode.linefreq
localnode.linefreq = frequency
frequency
Details
To achieve optimum noise rejection when performing measurements at integer NPLC apertures, set
the line frequency attribute to match the frequency (50 Hz or 60 Hz) of the ac power line.
When using this command from a remote node, replace localnode with the node reference, for
example node[5].linefreq. When this attribute is set, the localnode.autolinefreq attribute
is automatically set to false. You can have the instrument automatically detect the ac power line
frequency and set this attribute with the line frequency detected when the instrument power is turned
on by setting the localnode.autolinefreq attribute to true.
Example 1
frequency = localnode.linefreq
Example 2
localnode.linefreq = 60
