prompt, type

prompt will again be displayed.

If you want to access the NMP menus:
If at a VGA monitor, type
If at an Auxiliary Console, type
Either way, the Main Menu
If the following steps are not followed accurately, file corruption
can occur.
1. Press
at the Main Menu.

2. At the
prompt, type
[NETLINK]
3. At the
scosysv!login:
4. When asked for a password, type

6. After about a minute, you will be prompted:

to continue with the shutdown process.

7. Messages will be displayed, ending with:
** Safe to Power Off **

**Press any key to Reboot**
8. Switch the unit off.
To start an N7400, make sure the boot disk is in the drive, then switch the node on. If
the node has a monitor, it will eventually display (assuming it is able to communicate
with the network)
Node is Operational
To stop an N7400, switch it off.
To reboot an N7400, press
nmpini [Enter]
.
