Type "n" LP "n" in database but does not exist
Severity:
3
Meaning:
The LP has a record in the database, but the hardware is not recog-
nized.
Action:
Make sure the LP is installed. If already installed, it may be bad;
replace it and re-IPL the node.

PPM "n" Type 1 in database but does not exist
Severity:
3
Meaning:
The PPM is not recognized.
Action:
There is a failure in the node that must be repaired. Contact
Cabletron Systems Technical

LP "n" has been loaded
Severity:
4
Meaning:
The Load Image file has been loaded to the LP during node IPL.
10.
PPM 1 has been loaded
Severity:
4
Meaning:
The Load Image file has been loaded into the processor during node
IPL.
11.
Bad Load Image File – Error "n"
Severity:
3
Meaning:
The Load task has discovered format errors in the Load Image file.
Possible error numbers are:
The colon at the beginning of the record is missing, so the

record was discarded.
The record is longer than specified in the record count, so
2
the remainder of the record was ignored.
Action:
Try to re-IPL the node. If it fails to IPL, contact

LP "n" exists but is not in database
Severity:
3
Meaning:
The packet processing system has found an LP that has no record in
the database.
Action:
Create an LP record for this LP, then implement the change at the
node by one of the methods described in under "When Changes
Take Effect"on page 6-3.
