Servicing SP Trays
There is one SP tray in each chassis. Each SP tray contains two SPs or SPPs. For the location

This procedure requires that you handle components that are sensitive to electrostatic

discharge. This discharge can cause server components to fail. Follow antistatic precautions to
prevent electrostatic damage. See

Unseat or Remove an SP Tray
This procedure can be performed only by qualified service personnel.
Remove AC power using the circuit breakers on the appropriate PDU before
Caution -
performing this procedure.
You must unseat an SP tray before you can remove the interconnects and before you can
remove the SP tray.
