Servicing SPs

The servers have two redundant SPs: SP0 and SP1.
In SPARC M8-8 and SPARC M7-8 servers, the SPs are located in the CMIOU chassis.

In a SPARC M7-16 server, the redundant SPs (SP0 and SP1) are located in the switch chassis.
These SPs manage system activity. The SPARC M7-16 also contains two SPPs in each
CMIOU chassis that manage DCU activity. The top CMIOU chassis contains SPP2 and
SPP3, and the bottom CMIOU chassis contains SPP0 and SPP1. For information about SP
