Mixed CMIOU Configurations
The SPARC M7-8 server configured with two static PDomains is the only server that supports
a mixed configuration of SPARC M7 and SPARC M8 CMIOUs. In a SPARC M7-8 server with
two static PDomains, SPARC M8 CMIOUs can be installed in PDomain_1 (slots CMIOU_4 to
CMIOU_7). SPARC M8 CMIOUs are not supported in PDomain_0 (slots CMIOU_0 to CMIOU_3) of a
SPARC M7-8 server with two PDomains.
