Servicing eUSB Disks

A single eUSB disk is installed in each CMIOU in the server. For the location of the eUSB

This procedure requires that you handle components that are sensitive to electrostatic

discharge. This discharge can cause server components to fail. Follow antistatic precautions to
prevent electrostatic damage. See

Step
Description
1.
Remove the CMIOU so that you can replace an eUSB
disk.
2.
Replace an eUSB disk.
3.
Install the CMIOU after you have replaced the eUSB
disk.
