Controlling the Server and Domains

These topics explain how to access Oracle ILOM to service components in the server and how
to power off and on the server and individual domains.
Description
Log in to Oracle ILOM.
Prepare a component for a hot-service
procedure.
Remove power from the server or domain
to perform a cold-service procedure.
Return a component to service after issuing
the prepare_to_remove command, if
needed.
Restore power to the server or a domain
following a service procedure.

At the terminal prompt, type:
