Servicing Switch Units
In SPARC M7-16 servers, switch units are part of the scalability feature that enables a PDomain
to control DCUs. Switch units are configured to work together as a single unit. If a switch unit
fails, the server will operate in degraded mode. At least five switch units must be functioning
for the server to operate.
Replace a failed switch unit as soon as possible.
