Pinpoint Tests
Test
1 Check cable and terminal integrity:
- IMU pin 1
- IMU pin 4
2 Check cable for short circuit:
- IMU pin 4 to ground
3 Check cable continuity:
- IMU pin 1 to ground
Turn ignition switch to the ON position
and check cable continuity:
- Ignition switch pin 4 to IMU pin 4
4 Reconnect harness, clear fault code
and run engine
