Pinpoint Tests
Test
1 Check fuse integrity:
- Main fusebox, fuse 1 (PS1)
2 Check cable and terminal integrity:
- Chassis ECM pin A43
- Chassis ECM pin A01
- Rear light connector pin 3
- Rear light connector pin 2
3 Check cable for short circuit:
- Chassis ECM pin A43 to ground
4 Check cable continuity:
- Chassis ECM pin A43 to rear light
connector pin 3
- Rear light connector pin 2 to ground
5 Reconnect harness, clear fault code
and run engine to verify fault cleared
