Repeat step 4 for the left hand side.
6.
Tighten the pannier mounting frame fixings in the following sequence:
Tighten the fixings in the sequence shown below to 12 Nm.
Tighten fixing 1 again to 12 Nm.
7.
Tighten the rear foot rest hanger fixings to 27 Nm.
8.
Position the pannier link bar to the pannier mounting frames and secure with the three fixings.
9.
While holding the lock nuts to prevent rotation, tighten the two right hand pannier link bar fixings to 20 Nm.
10.
While holding the lock nut to prevent rotation, tighten the left hand pannier link fixing to 20 Nm.
11.
If fitted, fit the panniers as described in the Owner's Handbook.
Pannier Rails - Installation
Before starting work, ensure the motorcycle is stabilised and adequately supported. This will help prevent it
from falling and causing injury to the operator or damage to the motorcycle.
If fitted, remove the pannier mounting frames (see Pannier Mounting Frames - Removal).

Remove the fixings and their washers then remove the pannier rail.
