Rear wheel sensor incorrect or
missing signal
Pinpoint Tests
Test
1 Measure the air gap of the rear wheel
speed sensor between the sensor and
the pulser ring:
- Air gap between 0.1 mm to 1.5 mm
2 Check the pulser ring for damage or
contamination by road grime or
ferrous metal filings
3 Check the wheel speed sensors for
correct installation, and the fixings for
correct torque
4 Check the wheel speed sensor circuit
(see Rear Wheel Sensor Open
Circuit/Short Circuit)
5 Clear fault code and test ABS to verify
fault cleared

Rectify the fault and proceed to test 5
Contact Triumph service
Rectify the fault and proceed to test 5
Action complete - quit test
