5. Release the clamp fixings and remove the clamp and master cylinder.
Clutch Master Cylinder - Disassembly
Note
Note the order and orientation of each component as it is removed. It is essential for correct clutch
operation that each component is installed in the correct order and orientation during reassembly.
1. Remove dust cover/boot (1) from the rear of the master cylinder body.
2. Remove the cylinder pushrod (3).
3. Remove the circlip (2) from the end of the master cylinder bore.
4. Remove the washer (4) from part way down the bore.
5. Remove the piston, seal and spring (5) noting the position of the seal lip in relation to the piston.
