Check cable and terminal integrity:
- Engine ECM pin A33
- Engine ECM pin A34

Check cable for short circuit:
- Engine ECM pin A33 to ground
- Engine ECM pin A34 to ground
- IMU pin 4 to ground

Check cable continuity:
- Engine ECM pin A33 to IMU pin 3
- Engine ECM pin A34 to IMU pin 2
- IMU pin 4 to main fuse box, Fuse 6
(with the ignition switch and engine
stop switch in the RUN position)

Rectify fault, proceed to test 5
Proceed to test 3
Locate and rectify wiring fault, proceed
to test 5
Proceed to test 5
Locate and rectify wiring fault, proceed
to test 5
