Select neutral, remove the pinch bolt and disconnect the transmission linkage from the gear change
mechanism.
Note
Do not allow the side stand to hang on the harness for the side stand switch.
Note the routing of the harness for the side stand switch for installation.
8.
Release the fixings, detach the side stand and position aside.
9.
Release the fixings and remove the left hand control plate.
