Rear Master Cylinder - Honda CBR600F4i Series Service Manual

Place the moster cylinder osse mbly on the hondl eba r.
Align the end of t he master cylinder w it h t he p unch
mark on t he handlebar.
Install the master cylinder holder with the "UP" mark
fat:ing up.
Tight1rn t he upper holt first , t hen the lower ho lt to th e
specified to rque.
TORQUE: 12 N•m (1.2 k gf •m, 9 !bf.ft)
Install the b rake hose eye let with the oil bu ll and new
seal ing washers.
Push the eye let joint against the stoppe r, then tighten
the oil bolt t o the specified torque.
TORQUE:
34 N•m
(3.5 kgf•m, 25 !bf.ft)
Connect the brake light switch wire connectors.
Fill th e reservoir to th e upper level ancl bleed th e
b rake syst em (page
15 -4).

Drain the rea r hydraulic system (page 15-4).
Remove t he hrake light switch w ire clam p .
Disconnect th e brake light switch 2P (Black) connec-
t or.
Remove the rea r mf!ster cylinder reservo ir mountin g
bolt/nut.
Remove the brake hose oil bo lt, sealing washers and
brake hose.
Loosen t he rear master cylinder mounting bolts.
Reinove the , ider footpeg bracket socket bolts and
driver toot reg bracket assembly.
