1. Rear mounting
8) Install transfer lock bolt and washer and tighten it to specified
torque.
Tightening Torque
(a): 19 N·m (1.9 kg-m, 14.0 lb-ft)
1. Transfer
lock bolt
2. Driven
case
3. Rear case
9) Tighten driven gear nut to specified torque by using special
tool.
Special Tool
(A): 09927-25411
Tightening Torque
(a): 90 N·m (9.0 kg-m, 65.0 lb-ft)
10) Caulk driven gear nut.
11) Clean mating surface to both driven case and output case,
coat mating surface of driven case with sealant evenly then
mate it with output case.
Sealant
"A": 99000-31110 (SUZUKI BOND No.1215)
12) Tighten output case bolts to specified torque.
Tightening Torque
(a): 23 N·m (2.3 kg-m, 17.0 lb-ft)
13) Install rear mounting and tighten nuts to specified torque.
Tightening Torque
(a): 23 N·m (2.3 kg-m, 17.0 lb-ft)
