For 1.3L and 1.6L engine models
For 1.8L engine model
Installation
Reverse removal procedure noting the following point.
1) Tighten (a) first, and then (b).
Tightening Torque
(a), (b): 23 N·m (2.3 kg-m, 17.0 lb-ft)
2) Pour new compressor oil by the same amount as that drained
from compressor.
3) Evacuate and charge system according to previously described
procedure.
CAUTION:
Be sure to use HFC-134a (R-134a) compressor oil.
NOTE:
Compressor assembly supplied from factory is filled up
with the following amount of oil.
Oil capacity in A/C system: 150 cm
B. COMPRESSOR MOUNT
Inspection
1) Check mounting bolt for looseness.
2) Check mounting bracket for crack or fracture.
Retighten bolts by following sequence as indicated in figure.
Tightening Torque
(c): 65 N·m (6.5 kg-m, 47.0 lb-ft)
(d): 65 N·m (6.5 kg-m, 47.0 lb-ft)
