2. 1st-reverse brake piston
36) Remove parking lock pawl, pawl shaft and sleeve, etc.
i) Pull out parking lock pawl shaft and spring.
ii) Remove parking lock pawl.
iii) Pull out parking lock pawl sleeve.
iv) Remove manual detent spring assembly and manual shift
shaft.
37) Remove 1st-reverse brake piston.
i) Push down return spring assembly and remove snap ring.
ii) Take out return spring assembly.
iii) By blowing air, push out 1st-reverse brake piston.
CAUTION:
D Blow air very carefully, or outer O ring will be
damaged.
D Pull out piston by using long nose pliers, if
failed to remove it by air blow.
D Without replacing O rings prepared, do not at-
tempt to remove piston.
