1. Match marks
3) For vehicles equipped with ABS, attach ABS wheel speed sen-
sor pipe to No.2 control rod.
4) Install stabilizer bar (if equipped). Refer to Step 1) thru 3) in STA-
BILIZER BAR INSTALLATION of this section.
Tightening Torque
(a) : 23 N·m (2.3 kg-m, 17.0 lb-ft)
(b) : 50 N·m (5.0 kg-m, 36.5 lb-ft)
5) Lower hoist and bounce vehicle up and down to stabilize sus-
pension.
6) Tighten control rod bolts and nuts to specified torque with ve-
hicle weight on suspension.
NOTE:
D It is the most desirable to have vehicle off hoist and in
non-loaded condition when tightening them.
D Tighten No.2 control rod inner nut with match marks
aligned.
Tightening Torque
(c) : 90 N·m (9.0 kg-m, 65.0 lb-ft)
7) Install wheels (right & left) and lower hoist.
8) Check rear toe and adjust it as necessary. For check and adjust-
ment procedures, refer to REAR WHEEL ALIGNMENT in this
section.
9) Install suspension frame cap.
