CODE NO.14 GRAVITY SENSOR CIRCUIT
(SENSOR CIRCUIT OPEN OR SHORTED TO GROUND SIGNAL
VOLTAGE HIGH OR LOW)
1. Remove gravity sensor with ignition switch OFF.
2. Connect coupler to gravity sensor.
3. Check voltage between B13 terminal of suspension
control module and ground with ignition switch turned
ON and gravity sensor kept stationary as well as
moved up and down slowly.
4 Is voltmeter indication about 2 to 3V when G sensor
is kept stationary and does it deflect between 1 and
4V when it is moved up and down slowly?
NO
Disconnect gravity sensor coupler with ignition switch
OFF and check voltage between "B/R" and "R/W" termi-
nals of disconnected gravity sensor coupler with ignition
switch ON.
Is it 4.5 – 5.5V?
YES
1. Remove gravity sensor with ignition switch OFF.
2. Check gravity sensor referring to "GRAVITY
SENSOR" in this section.
Is it in good condition?
YES
"Gr" wire open, shorted to ground or poor gravity sen-
sor coupler connection.

If connection is OK, substitute a known-good sus-
pension control module and recheck.
"B/R" wire open, "R/W" wire open or poor B3 or B12
connection. If connections and wire harness are OK,
substitute a known-good suspension control module
and recheck.
