PROPORTIONING VALVE (P VALVE)
The proportioning valve is included within the brake circuit which connects the master cylinder and the wheel
brakes. It is installed on dash panel under engine hood and controls the hydraulic pressure applied to the rear wheel
brakes after predetermined pressure has been reached.
CAUTION:
Never disassemble proportioning valve. Disassembly will spoil its original function. If faulty condi-
tion is found, replace it with new one.

1. From master cylinder (Primary)
2. To left front caliper
3. To right rear wheel cylinder or caliper
4. From master cylinder (Secondary)
5. To right front wheel caliper
6. To left rear wheel cylinder or caliper
1. From master cylinder (Primary) and ABS hydraulic unit
2. To right rear wheel cylinder
3. From master cylinder (Secondary) and ABS hydraulic unit
4. To left rear wheel cylinder
