SEAT BELTS
WARNING:
For vehicles equipped with a seat belt pretensioner
(To check whether the vehicle is equipped with a seat belt pretensioner or not, refer to the Owner's
Manual.)
The procedures in this section must be followed in the order listed to disable the air bag system tem-
porarily and prevent false diagnostic trouble codes from setting.
Failure to follow procedures could result in possible activation of the air bag system, personal injury
or otherwise unneeded air bag system repairs.

(a): 35 N·m (3.5 kg-m, 25.5 lb-ft)
(b): 5.5 N·m (0.55 kg-m, 4.0 lb-ft)
